Kinetic Sculptures Workshop for Ages 9+

Inspired by the museum’s collection of whirligigs now on view in StudioLab, let’s make cardboard sculptures that move! Learn to build movement mechanisms like cams and gears, then use your imagination to create a whimsical kinetic sculpture during this 90-minute workshop.

Children 9+ can attend workshops without a parent. Children’s Museum admission and parent/caregiver required if visiting the Children’s Museum or MuseumLab outside of the workshop. Adults must purchase a workshop ticket if they wish to participate alongside their children.
