Float is a portrait collection built around the concept of water. The project originated with a specific lighting technique of using mylar as a reflective surface to simulate the shifting luminous quality of light on water. From that foundation, every element of the shoot was chosen to deepen the theme.
The collection features a dancer as the subject whose flowing movement and physical shapes anchors the concept. A vintage liquid satin gown plays with light in a way that feels both timeless and fresh. Across the shoot, modern and vintage elements coexist fluidly, each contributing without competing. Floral arrangements were constructed to suggest bubbles and cascading water, and actual bubbles and water droplets were incorporated as props throughout.
