Join local artist Cathy Olivar to learn her journey to becoming a sustainable fashion designer and running her own clothing brand.
Cathy will share how her favorite subjects like math and science, and electives like art, band and theater all inspired her decision to study fashion design in college. She will walk through a typical design project, explaining the process from a design idea to a finished product.
Participants will be able to experience the design process and create their own custom pouch!
