BLOOM is an event to create an open space for the artist community, including the museum staff and visitors, to let their creativity blossom. This event will include a variety of ways to appreciate and engage with local artists and their work + art-making opportunities for guests to explore their own creativity.

Enjoy live musical performances by Jason Gamble, Joziah Council, and Anyah Nancy
View floral-themed art installations and engage in art-making activities with artists Mia Marshall and Alison Zapata.
Draw, paint, and/or photograph three different floral arrangements from The Farmer’s Daughter and Roxane’s Dried Flowers
Pose with floral backdrops created by Party Blooms and capture some pictures of the evening
Admire the talents of some of the Museum’s creative staff members in our CMP Staff Showcase
Play in the park with large metallic inflatables, Ief Spincemaille’s moveable Rope sculpture, and a chalk drawing area.

Light refreshments and beverages will be provided while supplies last. Shannon Sweet Stop food truck will be onsite selling treats as well.
