To create Putt-a-palooza, The Westmoreland Museum of Art collaborated with artist duo A Couple of Putts, who specialize in designing unique mini golf holes inspired by art that are creative and have a high quality of play. Production of the holes was completed by 3DX Scenic, a fabricator of immersive theming for amusement parks, museums, zoos, live events, and more.

The Westmoreland dedicated Putt-a-palooza in memory of Tom Tanto, a pioneer in golf course development and irrigation, and a long-time supporter of the Westmoreland.
