Admission Discounts & Reciprocal Admission
We offer a variety of discounts for visitors, including participating in the Museums of All program and offering reciprocal admission through the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) and Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) programs.
Free admission is also provided to any therapeutic support staff, counselor, doctor, therapist or nurse that accompanies a visitor as part of their professional responsibilities. Please provide employee identification at the Admissions Desk to receive admission.

Parking options are available in the two lots adjacent to Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh; in the Nova Place parking garage; and at on-street parking.
Members: $6
Non-Members: $8
Pay prior to entering the Children’s Museum at the payment meters located in the lots and at the Museum’s back entrance, or by using the Way to Park app.
Parking is also available in the Nova Place parking garage. Pay for this parking at the Children’s Museum Admissions Desk before you leave to receive a discount rate and an exit ticket you can use at Nova Place.
Please note: During Heinz Field and PNC Park games, if you do not pay for your Nova Place parking at the Children’s Museum and receive an exit ticket to use, you will be charged the Garage’s event rate.
City of Pittsburgh on-street metered parking is also available near the Children’s Museum.

Children’s Museum – 2nd Floor Hallway
There are also designated quiet areas in the following exhibits in the Children’s Museum: Art Studio, Nursery, Waterplay and Traveling Exhibits Gallery.
Bean Sprouts is a hip & healthy café located right next door to MuseumLab in Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. It is open to all visitors as well as the public.
The Cafe offers lots of choices for lunch or a snack, adhering to clean ingredient guidelines and featuring organic and sustainable foods, compostable packaging and eco-friendly design. Plus a walk-up coffee bar.
Admission to MuseumLab includes admission to the Children’s Museum.
