After School at MuseumLab is a program for middle school youth, where engaging in arts and making can be channeled as a way to amplify their voices on issues such as social justice.
Students learn new arts and making processes through month-long intensives with museum teaching artists and community artists. Open studio time will also be available for students to continue their projects that are in progress or explore a menu of short-term art and making activities,
After School is a free program at MuseumLab made possible by generous support from Duquesne Light Company.

Youth who would like to use arts and making as a way to create change
MuseumLab teaching artists and staff are dedicated to providing an enriching, creative and safe place for your child to explore after school activities. Many are also working artists and performers who have art practices outside of the museum.
